We got the keys to the new house today. It's quite large, with enough room for us all to happily avoid each other, and as it's only round a couple of corners from the old house, I still have a view of the park. So, I'm happy.
What was not so great was opening the door and finding the ceiling in the shower room on the floor of the shower room. It appears the water tank has burst between the owners moving abroad (beginning of April) and us moving in (today).
So, we await a builder, a plumber and a takeaway curry from the new place in town.
